Henri-LAmar Dozier has worn numerous hats over the years including those of journalist, photographer, researcher, educator, community activist, poet, promoter, producer, musician and visual artist. As an educator Henri made history in the city of Paterson, NJ several times and visibly raised standardized test scores through his use of comic books in the classroom. A native of Newark, New Jersey, Henri graduated from Virginia State University, an HBCU located in Petersburg, with a degree in Sociology. He is affiliated with several organizations including Teach For America and Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity, Inc. He is pleased to have worked with the ECBACC since its second year in various capacities. Henri is currently finishing his very own comic book title.
