Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Milestone Media Comics

By · March 31, 2013 · Filed in Programming · Comments Off on Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Milestone Media Comics

M20-logo&Photos1
Launching titles like Hardware, Icon & Rocket, Static, Kobalt, Blood Syndicate, and many more, Milestone Media dared to create a new world of comic books in 1993 that introduced powerful images of diversity and respectful portrayals of people of color in the comic book medium. Furthermore, 20 years later those images are just as powerful as ever. ECBACC, Inc. invites you to join the celebration of the heroes behind the heroes at the 12th Annual East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention on Saturday, May 18, 2013. Come join us as author and comic book historian Prof. William H. Foster III helms this special event that examines the influence of Milestone Media in comic books and beyond.
